Stykke Pizza

Description

Stykke is a pizza restaurant started by friends Anders and Jack who met when they were young working at Peppes. The concept and name derives from the classic "20 dollar slice", a piece of pizza that is easy to eat "on the go" and is usually sold at smaller pizza restaurants in New York. Stykke Pizza were opening in a new location in April 2022 and needed a unique identity that was to be applied to everything from signage and menus to work clothes and takeaway. In a city full of pizza restaurants, it became particularly important to be bold and add something new.

Pizza always tastes better when shared with others, so we quickly realized that this was a job that would be even richer if it was created by more people. A presentation entitled "The collaborate pizza logo project" ended up in the inboxes of a bunch of illustrators and designers around the country. How do 8 different creative minds envision the perfect logo for the city's best pizza? The contributions, each with their own unique expression, became the ingredients in the identity of the new Stykke Pizza.
